SARASOTA KITTY PARTY A SUCCESS

WHEN ANGELS PURR... 2008

On Sunday, February 24th, the third annual When Angels Purr celebration was held at Michael's on East. Thanks to our volunteers and guests we raised over $3000 for the Humane Society of Sarasota, and brought almost 100 Sarasota cat lovers together for a purr-fect party: a fabulous brunch, auction, door prizes and presentation on "The Power of Meow" - how to listen and communicate with your cat.

It was also a first step in the creation of a Sarasota "Kitty Community"... our common denominator is our love of cats. I hope this blog and your comments and participation will further that community. You've heard of dog parks ? Think of this as an "ONLINE CAT PARK" where you can go to connect with local cat lovers.
