Can you guess? The best interactive cat toy is YOU... By that I mean that many cats prefer to play with their human family. There are now battery-powered toys on the market that will make a feather go round, etc., even if you're not there. I suppose some cats go for these, but the cats I know seem to figure out quickly that there is no person attached and quickly lose interest. On the other hand, a curly ribbon pulled back and forth by a person is much harder to resist. Try attaching a ribbon to your waistband while you "clean the house" or do your regular activities. If kitty chases, it has just embarked on its new exercise program!
